Barros & Errázuriz advised Empresa Constructora Belfi S.A. and Inversiones y Construcciones Belfi S.A. in the acquisition process of 100% of Inversiones Aeroportuarias Araucanía S.A.’s stake in Sociedad Concesionaria Aeropuerto Araucanía S.A. Said public concession was awarded in 2010, through an international public bidding process called by the Ministry of Public Works (Ministerio de Obras Públicas) for the construction and operation of the new Araucanía Region Airport, located in the city of Temuco, Chile. Barros & Errázuriz role in the transaction involved structuring and executing the acquisition. Through this M&A Sociedad Concesionaria Aeropuerto Araucanía S.A. has become an affiliate wholly owned by Empresa Constructora Belfi S.A.
